It bothers me more than it should. I gasped audibly this afternoon, and spent the rest of the day wanting to come home, watch Brokeback Mountain, and cry. Seriously. Remember this scene at the end of the movie? Uff da.

I personally don't see how this is a tragedy for Heath Ledger. He was in Mary-Kate Olsen's apartment, waiting to get a massage, and took too many pills. What a fucking rough life. Feel sorry for his children, and their now-fatherless existence.
I got a million other better reasons to have a good cry than this fuck up.
What does your buddy "shark" have to say about this one? Something incredibly witty I assume.
jesus, anon.
i think the ladies from my office are two steps away from saying god willed his death as punishment for his role in brokeback mtn.
Then how do they explain Jake Gyllenhall?????????
Hip E: I think dating Tracy Flick is punishment enough.
Anon... that was a bit harsh and not funny.
Is that this sister from Growing Pains?
well, leaps of logic are lost on those who would refuse to watch "bb mtn." ("icky!"), but LOVED "i now pronounce you chuck and larry" ("hilarious!").
ICKY!!!!
From Bob Cesca's Goddamn Awesome Blog:
On his syndicated radio show which no-one listens to, FOX News shmendrick John Gibson joked about Heath Ledger's death yesterday including more awesomely hilarious jokes about Brokeback Mountain. Olbermann noted last night that when Gibson was tormenting a dead man, the autopsy hadn't even been completed.
But you know what? He'll get away with it because he was appealing to the eerily large percentage of the American population who think Brokeback was oogy and weird and therefore Ledger was oogy and weird. He'll get away with it unless the rest of us normal people stop him. E-mail to comments@foxnews.com.
i had the same reaction. i heard about it and was depressed for the entire day and wanted to sit and cry while watching brokeback mountain- sort of as a tribute- but hubby said that was too sad, so we watched reruns of seinfeld instead.
and to the ignorant, mean-spirited anonymous person- just because someone has money doesn't *automatically* make them void of feelings and i really don't see how being in mary-kate's appt. is seen in any way as positive like being able to afford a massage might be . . . ? kinda don't know where you're going with that one being that she's a scary, skeletal of a woman. and it doesn't happen that you just "take too many pills." it's really really hard to "accidentally" kill yourself from prescription meds- ask anyone in a mental health hospital. and do i hear "daddy issues" anyone?
