I work with the reporter who interviewed the kid. It was totally unscripted and unexpected. Whenever the newsroom needs a laugh we cue it up.
Apparently there are tee-shirts and messenger bags for sale with the kids face and a bubble above his head saying, "I like tuttles."
"Anonymous," I didn't notice this was Portland until my 10th watch. I wondered if you'd seen it. Good to know...
My favorite part is the first few seconds of just him staring at the camera.
